Gold Coast Touch is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people who participate in our sport and access our services.  We support the rights of the child and will act at all times to ensure a child safe environment is maintained.

BLUE CARDS

All Team Management, Support Staff and Referee Blue Cards must be linked to affiliates through the Blue Card Services Organisation Portal. Team Delegates must provide a copy of their coaching staff’s BlueCard number, expiry date and date of birth, so all can be linked to the organisation’s Employee Register.  This must occur before involvement starts from any adult within the youth space.

INTEGRITY EDUCATION – Online Learning

All staff, coaching staff and referees associated with youth members are recommended to meet the online education requirements as detailed below:

• Safeguarding Children & Young People in Sport Induction

• Annual Update 2026

• Introduction to Illicit Drugs in Sport

• Harassment & Discrimination

• Anti-Doping Fundamentals

• Competition Manipulation & Sports Gambling
