Wet Weather Policy
In the event of storms and heavy rain Gold City Council inspects the grounds and will make an announcement via their website if the fields are CLOSED or OPEN. They update their website 2 times per day 8:30am and 3pm.
Gold Coast Touch will notify players / parents / team officials by posting updates on our Website, Facebook page and by sending group emails advising if games are ON or OFF. We will always endeavour to provide as much notice as possible.
For Junior games on Saturday mornings, we will make a decision on games no later than 1 hour before the first scheduled game.
In the event of storms during games, Gold Coast Touch Officials will make a decision regarding ending, pausing or delaying games when player safety is in question (lightning, water-logged fields, torrential downpour etc)
